Next you will learn to teach your first workout. We have found that the method of giving pre-choreographed routines to new instructors is the most effective way for them to quickly become proficient in this program. Our experience is that the more an instructor teaches Essentrics the faster they understand the program. With that in mind, we have designed this certification by giving teachers pre-choreographed routines to copy. We discovered that learning to teach Essentrics is like learning a new language; first you have to learn the vocabulary before you can have a conversation, requiring a lot of mimicking and repetition before it becomes natural. To become an apprentice: Study all the material in your Level 1 package & memorize your first class on DVD. This should take 4 to 8 weeks at which time you will be ready to teach that routine. To become certified as an apprentice you must pass the multiple choice test and a practical exam (send us a video-DVD or test in person). Support material: 1. *Workshop for Level 1* Join an Essentrics Workshop and learn more about this innovative technique. 16 hour, 2-day training intended to leave the instructor with a solid understanding of the Essentrics program and the ability to teach their first Essentrics class. The workshop includes; daily master class, seminars on techniques, objectives and basic exercises in Essentrics using the pre choreographed workout #1 as a guide. Seminars analyzing exercises, transitions and sequences, plus the anatomy of each movement, positioning and common mistakes. All instructors will be tested throughout the seminars and be given individual guidance aimed at training them to be able to successfully lead an Essentrics workout.
