I can’t believe its November already!

A few things to announce; I am putting a bunch of recipes together we used at our Canadian Thanksgiving for you to enjoy a vegan thanksgiving feast! And this month we are sending you our Newsletter in a video format. This way, I can more easily share with you my thoughts and tips on exercising. One thing I have to say is that I love the internet for making sharing so easy; receiving emails and testimonials really make my day and are so educational for me as they let me know the effect the exercises are having on you!

Exciting news for expectant mothers is that we filmed a Pregnancy video with one of our instructors who is 8 months pregnant. She is expecting to teach up to the day of delivery. She was so excited to be able to share her pregnancy experience with you.

Sahra just finished filming 3 new ESSENTRICS DVDs that will be available early January. We are really thrilled with these DVD’s not only is the exercise content amazing but the location makes for a stunning artistic experience. There is always so much happening at the Classical Stretch head-quarters; make sure you check out our retreat dates and teacher training workshops to see if one is right for you!

PBS Television series season 8 2011 TV series

The Age Defying series will be available for purchase in January 2012.

Dear Miranda,

I just want to say thank you. I have continued to do the exercises with you on your program - adjusting as I needed to due to the situation with my hip. For the first time in a LONG time, I have been able to sleep through the night without waking up several times in pain. I actually woke up with a start a few mornings ago thinking oh my goodness, I slepted all night.

My legs feel stronger and my pants are fitting better. I have actually lost a couple of pounds also.

Good Afternoon Miranda

I wanted to thank you for sharing your expertise.  I have been using the Core DVD for about four months.  I started just as you said, everyday for one week, now I do it three times a week.  I have also been working in Sahra's DVD for upper and lower body or one of your programs airing on my local PBS station several times a week.

I always had poor posture even though I tried to stand up straight, was doing a pilates routine three times a week and lifting light weights three times a week.  Things are changing.  I saw a significant change in my back pain and after buying a new mattress about a month ago my back pain is almost gone.

Every muscle in my body is more limber and strong.  I move better.  Stretching the psoas muscle feels so good and now I don't have the pain that I had when I take my daily three mile walk or ride my bike.

I must also thank you for all the little suggestions that you make about posture.  I truly didn't know that I should lift my chest up and relax my shoulders.  I didn't know where my chin should be.  Now I do know and it does make a difference.
