"Specially designed exercise programs can safely help older women with osteoporosis improve their balance and strength and reduce their risk of falls that could lead to bone fractures, a new study says."

HELEN BRANSWELL TORONTO (CP)

Osteoporosis needs a very carefully designed exercise program to help stop the condition from becoming more severe and then reverse it. The exercises needed to treat osteoporosis have to be gentle enough so as not to cause damage to the joints through sudden or rough impact and yet strong enough to actually stimulate the bones to fight back and become stronger.

Classical Stretch exercises help treat osteoporosis: they stress the bones, improve posture, stimulate balance reflexes, strengthen the hips and relieve any pressure on the joints. Many participants in Classical Stretch have reported a reversal in their osteoporosis condition and in the obvious symptoms such as rounded backs and fragile balance.
